To me, the way he yells Ian Gallagher at the start is sort of in that same, ‘is there even any point in me threatening anyone’ kind of way, and I think it’s the same way he threatens Kash as well. Not saying I’m right I just think that’s just the way Mickey is rather than it being about him not giving a shit.
Red hair really is a strong gene in the Gallagher family.

Okay, so I’ve realised that people are gonna start going on and on about how no one seems to be concerned about the fact that Mickey’s going to beat up Ian ‘cause it’s domestic abuse. I’d just like to say right now before that starts that it’s not because it’s a relationship between two guys, it’s because it’s Ian and Mickey, they started their relationship by beating each other up. To them getting beaten up is really not all that big of a deal ‘cause it happens too fucking often for it to be.
